Chalfant, CA

Chalfant | Residential

Named after Arthur Chalfant, newspaper editor and settler, Chalfant lies about 14 miles north of the city of Bishop. In September of 2015, Chalfant became the first community in Mono County to receive Race fiber Internet services. Since our order form went live, we have received a large number of orders from the residents, and we wasted no time in getting our services out to the homes and businesses of Chalfant.

If you live in Chalfant and are interested in getting gigafied, please use our online form to submit your order. At this time, the East side is nearing completion while installations on the West side of Chalfant have not yet started.

If you have questions about an existing order, please call or email us and make sure to include your service address.

Installation Steps

After an order is placed with us, we have to determine if your home is an aerial or underground installation. In school, you were always told to do your homework and the same holds true for us. We perform site surveys to gather information on your home and property. This helps us determine access, and the location of potential obstacles. A site survey will be completed by a certified technician before an initial drop is done.
